Manga That Keeps Pulling You Back Again And Again

I think we all have it; that one (or more) manga that you keep coming back to again and again. You crave it whenever you don't read it and when you do, you can't just stop to keep on reading it. You have to finish it. That very first time you read it you were so engulfed in it you forgot time and read through it in one or two sittings. Hours were spent on the main characters and afterwards you wanted to know more. You mourned the ending, that it was over and you had to leave your beloved characters behind.

I have one manga in particular where I have been so immersed in the story I didn't want to stop. I wasn't  able to. And when I finished I just picked the manga up and started over again from the beginning. One manga I keep on thinking about more or less every day. It might be crazy but I am sure many (some at least, come on, I can't be alone in this) are the same. Which one is it, you might wonder? Well, let me tell you, since you ask so nicely.

This manga, or rather manhwa since it is a korean comic, is the manga that I think about most of all the manga I have read up to date. I can find myself think about the characters suddenly when I do the dishes or take a shower. "What would Dai do if x happens?", "Where would Jaehee go if Dai left?" and so on. I have read the manhwa I don't know how many times by now and I still crave it. I found it by chance on a scanlation page. I usually just browse and pick random stuff up and it said boys love so I thought why not. I only read boys love back then. But, it was so much more. This is about two boys and their somewhat complicated relationship, and yes they do kiss and some more (but nothing explicit even thought you get the picture), but it is about everything around them.

It's a story about growing up, finding yourself and understanding what's important in life. The book is full of interesting characters apart from our two main characters and the character development is impressive I think. The story never gets boring, something unexpected always happens, much of which depends on our main characters reactions to certain events.

I know it is classified as a boys love manhwa but I think anyone who likes the dark and tragic should read it. If you like complex characters and an evolving story with a good amount of development it is a good read. And the art is so amazingly beautiful. I have this manhwa standing beside my bed just so I can pick one of the volumes and flip through the pages when ever I need to fill up on my dose of Dai and Jaehee. I have never been more happy than when I got the whole series in the mail. It's just beautiful. One day I might write a proper review about it but for now, this will have to do.

I have other manga too that has totally dominated my life while reading them, manga that I come back to again and again, but this one is the most dominant one. That special one that will always have the number one spot in my heart.
